Disney World crowds are looking different this year, but there are still long wait times in the park.

Crowds have been surprising us this summer (along with Genie+ prices) but you still may want Disney’s skip-the-line service. While you can use tactics like rope dropping or staying until park close, we want to warn you about the one ride with wait times much higher than any other attraction.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom has some tame wait times compared to parks like Hollywood Studios, but Flight of Passage has the highest average wait time in Disney World by far.

If you want to skip the line at Flight of Passage, we recommend heading there first thing in the morning, especially if you are taking advantage of Early Entry as a Disney World hotel guest. Or, if you’re willing to spend some extra money, you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for this attraction.
See all of the average wait times from Disney World over the past week below!
Magic Kingdom
Last week, wait times increased at almost every attraction in Magic Kingdom. Now, wait times have basically stayed the same with wait times like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight remaining high.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
If there is one park to purchase Genie+ in, we’d recommend Hollywood Studios based on these wait times. Lightning Lanes can go quickly, but if you strategize right and grab popular rides like Slinky Dog Dash first, you can skip the line at quite a few rides.

We thought we wouldn’t see EPCOT wait times rise until the Food & Wine Festival kicked off on July 27th, but they have increased a bit early. Test Track is now the longest wait on average in the park followed closely by Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

See the average EPCOT attraction wait times from the week below:

Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Just like many of the Magic Kingdom rides, Flight of Passage saw a major increase last week to a 95-minute average. The wait time increased again this week to a 97-minute average. This is why we recommend buying that Individual Lightning Lane or rope-dropping this ride. Don’t spend over an hour in line if you don’t have to!

The average wait times for the rest of Animal Kingdom’s attractions are listed below:
- The Boneyard: 0 minutes
- TriceraTop Spin: 6 minutes
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 10 minutes
