Slinky Dog Dash is one of the newest and most popular rides in Disney’s Hollywood Studios…and the wait times show it!

Toy Story Land is home to three attractions, but Slinky Dog Dash is typically the one with the longest lines. Last week we reported that the coaster had the longest wait time in all of Disney World and we’re here again with the same result.
Despite wait times decreasing at most of the popular Disney World attractions, Slinky Dog Dash saw an increase this week with a 102-minute average wait time.

What do you think of the wait times? Let us know in the comments!
It’s because of the Lightning Lane. They will clear the LL before they allow the standby line to go and then they only allow one family to go and go right back to the LL. The LL is the absolute worst thing to happen to WDW. Fastpass+ was much better system for so many reasons.
Not only did this article miss giving the Why the lines are longer, they did not even offer up any reasons.
I totally agree with you on the LL handling of the lines. Diz has created a class system based on LL purchases and therefore bias the ride loading far too heavily on them.
I just got back this morning from a two week stay in WDW (in the parks 8/7 – 8/18). Wait times were awful. I’m not sure where these averages are coming from, but rides were down a lot in all four parks, causing huge wait times at the open rides. Friday morning, there was a 45 minute wait for Avatar flight of passage at 7:40 in the morning! On Friday night, there was a 225 minute wait for Tower of Terror, with the lightning lane at a 45 minute wait. Rockin Roller Coaster was 70 minutes just to name two rides. We talked to cast members all week who commented on the crowds and wait times. Based on the articles we have been reading, we were expecting short wait times.
