Going to Disney World This Week? We Wish You Luck 😬

As we celebrate spooky season and get closer and closer to the holidays, things are getting BUSY at Disney World.

Mickey Pumpkin!

This past week, we saw park pass reservations fill up on a random date in Magic Kingdom and crowds have been higher in the parks overall. Genie+ saw its highest price since July due to demand. Now we’re looking at the wait times from last week, and if you’re going to Disney World soon, we wish you luck.

Almost every single attraction (yes, really) saw an increase in average wait times. We’re not talking a minute here and there — some rides saw 20-minute or more leaps when it comes to average wait times.

Crowds from this week

Keep scrolling to see a breakdown of this week’s averages so you can make a plan to conquer the parks on your upcoming trip.

Magic Kingdom

Wait times are up at EVERY attraction in Magic Kingdom. Yes, you read that right. You can still expect the same front runners like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight but expect to spend a little more time in lines than usual. Also park passes have been filling up for October 16th, which is Disney’s 100th anniversary, which may draw crowds to the parks to celebrate.

Big Thunder Mountain

Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait time:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We’re warning you now –the Slinky Dog Dash wait time is hard to look at…but it’s the highest in Disney World this week at 102 minutes. Rise of the Resistance and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster were not far behind with 86 minutes and 75 minutes respectively.
