FIRST LOOK at the New Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Snack Stand Coming to Disney World

We’re SO CLOSE to the opening of a new ride in Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is set to open in Hollywood Studios on May 26th. The ride is going to feature a new soundtrack by The Electric Mayhem, and it’s going to be the thrilling journey that you know and love with some fan favorite characters added to the experience. But one thing we’re particularly excited about? The NEW snack stand!

FØØD by Swedish Chef is the new dining addition to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster courtyard, taking over where KRNR The Rock Station used to be. Disney hasn’t shared a menu yet, but we did get a sneak peek at one of the items — what looks to be a specialty churro.

Now, just one day after announcing the snack stand, a sign has popped up on the updated location! We stopped by to check it out. Based on the photos our reporter took, the entire kiosk has a fresh new look!

There are striped decorations along what appears to be the front awning. A sign has been attached to the side, but there is space for more signage to be installed. We can’t wait to see what they serve — fingers crossed for some fun Muppet-themed treats!

If you’re hoping to check out Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster soon, there will be Annual Passholder previews with a virtual queue ahead of the ride’s opening. Once it opens, the ride will be a Lightning Lane Multi Pass selection, so we recommend trying to book it if you’re going in the first few months of operation. It’s going to be a popular one!

The pre-show will feature fan-favorite Muppets like Kermit and Miss Piggy, though the premise of the ride revolves around The Electric Mayhem. For the soundtrack, The Electric Mayhem has performed covers of popular rock songs.
