Wait Time Cuts in HALF at Rise of the Resistance This Week in Disney World

There are so many things to do at Disney World, but the most popular would have to be the attractions!

Big Thunder Mountain

Disney World is full of rides for people of all ages — there’s a thrill at places like Tower of Terror and family-friendly rides like Dumbo. Since this is a major part of most trips to Disney World, it’s important to stay up-to-date on the wait time trends.

Spring break season is coming to a close and we’ve noticed that the crowds have been much lighter in the parks overall. During spring break Genie+ hit an all-time high price of $35, but as of April 23rd, the price dropped to its lowest point of $15.

Wait Times

Yes, there are still busy parts of each park and it may be worth it to buy Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes to skip the longest lines in the parks. But overall, it’s looking much easier to navigate Disney World! Keep scrolling to see what the average wait times looked like in all four parks this week.

Magic Kingdom

Even though wait times have dropped overall, you’ll still be waiting a while for the popular attractions unless you rope drop or use Genie+ or Individual Lightning Lanes. We’d still recommend grabbing an Individual Lightning Lane for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train since that continues to be the longest wait time in  Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

We usually talk about Rise of the Resistance when discussing Hollywood Studios wait times, but it’s for a different reason now — the average wait time cut in HALF this week! Last week, the popular Star Wars attraction had an average wait time of 123 minutes and this week it dropped to a 61-minute average.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

When it comes to Animal Kingdom, Pandora is the place to be in the mornings. If you don’t want to rope drop the Avatar-themed rides, you can purchase an Individual Lightning Lane for Flight of Passage and you can grab a Lightning Lane for Na’vi River Journey if you buy Genie+.
