5 NEW Experiences Coming to Shanghai Disney (Including DUFFY MONTH)

Sometimes, there is so much happening at Disney World that we forget about all the amazing things happening at the international Disney Parks.

Shanghai Disney Resort is celebrating Duffy Month in September, and wait till you hear about all the amazing things coming. You’ll want to book a ticket straight there!

Duffy Month runs from September 1st to 30th, and you’ll get to celebrate Duffy and his friends all month long with florals. You can meet the friends in their all-new outfits, where each one represents a different flower.

  • ShellieMay — wearing a Chinese Rose
  • Gelatoni — wearing a top featuring cymbidium ensifolium-inspired embroideries
  • “Olu Mel — hibiscus outfit
  • StellaLou — headband with multiple hosta blooms
  • CookieAnn — lotus accessories
  • LinaBell — stand-collar jacket and headwear featuring osmanthus blooms

Mickey and Minnie Mouse also have outfits representing Hibiscus mutabilis.

For Duffy Month, Enjoy the Moon with Duffy and Friends will return for daily showings! The special edition of the show will incorporate elements of the Shanghai Opera, taking place every Sunday starting September 7th and continuing throughout the month.

The special edition will have the Shanghai Huju Opera Theatre performing “Let’s Get Together” in front of the Enchanted Storybook Castle.

We’re excited for the limited-time Duffy and Friends treats, too! There will be Osmanthus Mini Dumpling Crepe with Strawberry Ice Cream and Minnie Mouse Osmanthus Muffin at CookieAnn Bakery Cafe.

Osmangthus-flavored gelato and ice cream will also be available at Il Paperino.

The Duffy and Friends Themed Afternoon Tea at the Royal Banquet Hall and the Autumn Season Brunch at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel’s Limiere’s Kitchen will have seasonal flavors and treats.

You can’t forget about the unique merchandise! From bags, headbands, jewelry, and more, there will be tons of incorporated florals. LinaBell is also celebrating her fourth anniversary from September 23rd to 29th, so keep your eye out for more special fun.

Beyond this huge Duffy celebration, there’s also a bit of Halloween going on! From October 4th to November 1st, you can watch the new show Buccaneer Bash, and there’s a new pirate theme at Barbossa’s Bounty.

You’ll also be able to see Disney Villains like Gaston, Cruella, and Mother Gothel. Keep an eye out for them on the balcony at the Enchanted Storybook Castle.

On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from October 17th to November 1st, you can have fun with the Halloween Spook-tacular Days. Mickey and Friends, Duffy and Friends, and Pooh and Friends (so many friends!) will be in their new Halloween looks. Zootopia will also celebrate its annual Howl-O-Ween.
