You know when one bad thing happens and it completely throws off your day?

We’ve been there in both our everyday lives and at Disney World! Not everything is going to go to plan in the theme parks especially when you factor in weather, ride closures, and just being human. But there is one ride that could make your visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios harder right now and we want to warn you about it.
We’re talking about Slinky Dog Dash, which has had the highest wait times in ALL of Disney World for weeks now.
The average wait times at this attraction have been above 100 minutes for a while now and this week was no exception. This is just the average, but we often see wait times higher than that, especially during the peak of the day.

But you CAN avoid the long wait here so it doesn’t take a good chunk out of your day! Genie+ is probably the best way to do this, but you can also rope drop the attraction first thing in the morning for a shorter wait. If you do buy Genie+, we recommend choosing this as your first Lightning Lane because it can fill up very quickly.

If you don’t use one of these tools, you may spend a lot more time in the Slinky Dog Dash line than you originally anticipated!
Take a look at the average wait times in Hollywood Studios and the rest of Disney World from the past week.
Magic Kingdom
Surprisingly, Magic Kingdom’s wait times stayed pretty much the same as last week. Crowds have finally started to ease in the original Disney World theme park, but that doesn’t mean you won’t wait in lines. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Peter Pan’s Flight continue to post the highest waits.

What is your favorite ride at Hollywood Studios? Let us know in the comments!
Wait times can certainly throw off your day. But if you stay in line and ride or walk away from the line, you still have the rest of your day. What really throws off my day is when I accidentally get on a ride that induces motion sickness or I mistakenly convince myself that one of the new rides (Ratatouille comes to mind) won’t be that bad (Had to close my eyes for over half of that ride). Talk about a ruined day…..
