It Just Got HARDER to Ride Jingle Cruise in Disney World

We hope you’re ready because Disney World has fully embraced the holiday season!

The tree is here!

In Magic Kingdom alone, we’ve seen decor all over, the Christmas tree is up, festive treats are everywhere, and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has begun. Not only that, but the popular holiday overlay at Jungle Cruise (rightfully called Jingle Cruise) is back! It seems a lot of people are excited because the wait times have gone through the roof for the attraction this week… .

This week, the average wait time for Jingle Cruise is 69 minutes. While this isn’t the highest average in all of Disney World, it is significantly higher than last week’s average of 32 minutes.

Disney Vacation Planner

So what can you do if you want to ride Jingle Cruise without that long of a wait time? Well, if you purchase Genie+, we recommend grabbing that as one of your first Lightning Lanes of the day. Using the Lightning Lane will give you an expedited wait and with the holiday crowds incoming, these spots can fill up quickly.

You can also rope drop this attraction, which we highly recommend if you’re staying at a Disney World hotel. Take advantage of that Early Theme Park Entry which lets you in the park 30 minutes before everyone else.

Take a look below at the average wait times at every Disney World attraction!

Magic Kingdom

Besides Jingle Cruise, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is another ride to watch out for in Magic Kingdom. Even during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, which only allows a limited number of people in the park at one time, the wait time for this ride was long.

Look, it’s Santa!

Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait time:

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Based on past weeks, it is no surprise to see Slinky Dog Dash with the longest wait time in Disney World with Rise of the Resistance not too far behind. If you’re looking for attractions to do that don’t typically have a long wait, consider checking out Star Tours, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy, or Walt Disney Presents!

Toy Story Mania

Read the list below to see the rest of the Hollywood Studios ride wait times averages, from low to high:

EPCOT

Although they are usually the attractions with the highest averages, both Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure saw a big increase overall this week. Take a look at the rest of the average wait times below:

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Flight of Passage also saw a major jump this week when it comes to wait times! After posting a 64-minute average last week, it’s now up to an 87-minute average. Wait times went up at every other attraction in the park as well.
