A Boat Ride Had the Longest Average Wait in Disney World This Week!

Happy Spring Break, everybody! As guests continue to stream into the parks to celebrate time with family and friends, the parks have looked extra busy recently.

And, if you’re wondering how spring break impacted attractions, we’re taking a look at the average wait times we spotted in Disney World over this past week!

Magic Kingdom

There was a lot of fluctuation in Magic Kingdom, with some wait times dropping from last week, and others hopping way up. But, there were a few surprises along the way, like the fact that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad only had a 32-minute wait.

And rides including Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel actually had longer waits than the coaster, with 35 minutes and 34 minutes, respectively.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 23 minutes

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel: 34 minutes
Astro Orbiter: 37 minutes
Peter Pan’s Flight: 34 minutes
it’s a small world: 35 minutes
Space Mountain: 43 minutes
Jungle Cruise: 37 minutes

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 32 minutes

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios had high average wait times all around the park. The lowest waits were only 28 minutes at Muppet*Vision 3D and 29 minutes at Alien Swirling Saucers.

The highest were at Slinky Dog Dash with 65 minutes and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror with 67 minutes. Phew, that’s a busy day!

Slinky Dog Dash: 65 minutes
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 44 minutes

EPCOT

The average wait times in EPCOT all increased this week with the longest waits at spots like Mission: SPACE with 32 minutes, Frozen Ever After with 37 minutes

Soarin’ with 42 minutes, and Test Track with 48 minutes. We can’t blame everyone for hopping on their favorite rides before exploring the Flower and Garden Festival!

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Yet again, Disney’s Animal Kingdom claimed the top spot with the highest average wait time in Disney World this week! The Na’vi River Journey claimed its ranking as the busiest with a 70-minute wait

…with other high average wait times around the park, including Avatar Flight of Passage with a 59-minute wait, Dinosaur with a 36-minute wait, and Kilimanjaro Safaris with a 28-minute wait.
