4 Major Announcements For Disney World’s Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets!

The opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is officially less than two weeks away, and recently Disney announced SO many exciting updates.

From ride details to new merch, menu updates, and more, Disney is making sure that everyone is getting excited to welcome the Muppets back to Hollywood Studios. So let’s dive into the five exciting sneak peeks we got yesterday!

Preshow

Yesterday, Disney posted a video with a sneak peek of the all-new pre-show. This video shows Electric Mayhem in the middle of a jam session at G-Force Records. When Scooter notices you, the audience, on a V.I.P tour.

Electric Mayhem has to get to their show across town, but they’re running late, and as Scooter tries to get them to leave, chaos ensues! One of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew’s experiments goes wrong, and Beaker gets thrown against the glass of the recording studio.

Animatronics

We’ve also gotten a sneak peek at SO many new animatronics. In the pre-show, we got an early look at an amazing Scooter animatronic as well as the penguins rocking out at the soundboards.

And then we also got a first look at the grumpiest duo, Statler and Waldorf, who are also making an appearance on this attraction! And they even gave a nod to an iconic Muppet*Vision 3D quote as they yell, “We can’t you, old fool. We’re bolted to the seats!”

Souvenirs

With this new ride, we are also getting so much new merch, and we just got a first look at all the merchandise we can expect to see for this attraction.

Some of the items you can expect to see include t-shirts, hats, water bottles, pins, Loungefly bags, and a Muppets license plate.

You can find all this fun merch at the new Rock Around The Shop. It includes six new t-shirts, two new pins, a hat, Loungeflys, and more.

So if you’re looking to rock an iconic new Muppet style to celebrate this new ride, you are in luck.

New snacks

We’ve also gotten a sneak peek at the menu coming to the Muppets snack stand called FØØD by Swedish Chef. This spot opens on May 26th with the opening of the new attraction, and here is the menu you can expect to find!

• Wocka Wocking Nachos, which comes with corn chips with queso blanco, and tomatoes with guacamole.

• Churro Drumstick, which is a twisted churro tossed in mixed berry sugar with raspberry sauce and assorted sprinkles on top.

• Mayhem Soft-serve Float, which includes frozen Fanta blue raspberry with vanilla soft-serve and pink cotton candy.

• Pink Le-moi-nade, which is Minute Maid Premium Lemonade with guava.

• Pond Water Limeade,  which is Minute Maid Premium Limeade with green apple and fruit juice-filled pearls.

This menu will also include several non-themed items.

• Mini Corn Dogs served with chips
• Chocolate Chip Cookies
• Assorted Chips
• Vanilla, Chocolate, or Swirl Waffle Cone
• Frozen Floats with Coca-Cola or Barq’s Root Beer
• Fountain Sodas
• Frozen Blue Raspberry (Also available with Bacardi Superior Rum or Tito’s Handmade Vodka)
