This Is The Weirdest Thing I Found in EPCOT's Japan Pavilion This Week (And I Need 100 Of Them)

You never know what you’re going to find when you walk around Disney World, which we do EVERY day.

Yes, we really are in Disney World every day, and that’s how we know that things change in the parks from day to day. When we’re looking for something extra fun, we find ourselves heading to the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT. Not only is it absolutely stunning, but Mitsukoshi is one of the most unique stores in all of Disney World. You never know what you may find inside, and in this case, we found something we’d like in every single room of our house.

Mitsukoshi is a store that was founded in Japan in 1673, and was part of opening day in Disney World back in 1982. It’s one of the largest stores in World Showcase, and is full of so many fun, unique souvenirs.

The other day, we walked in and found these fun plushes, but were a little confused as to what they were. Turns out, they’re called Posture Pals, and they’re meant to be put between you and your computer desk to improve posture while working!

Each one is a little cat dressed in a chicken or shark suit, which is cute as can be! What you’ll want to do is put it literally right between your stomach and your desk. If you’re squishing it too much, then you’re too close, but if it’s able to be kept up, then you’re the right distance away from your computer and maintaining the correct posture! That’s why they’re curved too, so they hang off the desk easily.

It’s meant to keep you from hunching over your computer, which can easily get uncomfortable quick, even if you don’t realize it at that exact moment. Plus, since it easily hangs off your desk, it’ll be right there when you come back! There are numerous other designs online, but for right now, these are the only ones we’ve spotted in the store. Could we see more in the near future? We hope so!
