Did Disney Just Fix The WORST Part of EPCOT?

When you’re visiting EPCOT, the most stressful part of your day is not the crowds or the heat; it’s the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind pre-show.

We’ve never experienced anything as cutthroat as the shoving and intensity as guests try to battle their way to the front of the crowd. However, on a recent visit, it looked like Disney has finally put systems into place to make this pre-show experience a little less chaotic and less stressful.

The pre-show used to have everyone shoving against the three doors in the second pre-show room and running as soon as the doors opened.

However, that has now changed! Currently, the middle door is blocked off with a rope. So guests are only able to exit through the two side doors.

Both side doors still open at the same time; however, now cast members hold the guests at one door and allow for the other side to slowly enter up the ramp before allowing the other side to follow.

And there are now several cast members in the room after the pre-show waiting to move guests through. This is a MUCH better system than the chaos that ensued before, where everyone shoved their way through and ran as soon as the doors opened.

We are excited that Disney has finally taken the effort to make this pre-show exit a smoother, safer, and less chaotic experience for guests.
