We’ve seen some long wait times on our visits to Disney World, but nothing prepared us for yesterday’s longest wait.
While you’re walking around Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you may see long lines at rides like Tower of Terror, Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster, and Slinky Dog Dash. But one ride stands out above all of the others on a typical busy day in the park — Rise of the Resistance.
On Friday, October 14th, Rise of the Resistance posted a 420 minute wait. Yep, you read that right — 420 minutes! That’s a 7 hour wait, and although it is one of the most popular rides in Disney World, that is a WILD length of time to wait in a line.
To skip the line at this ride, you would need to buy an Individual Lightning Lane. Keep in mind that the price for Rise of the Resistance has been as high as $22 per person.

Absolutely NOT! No ride is worth spending an entire day waiting in line for an actual 3-to-5-minute ride experience. As of right now, my family and I won’t be going to WDW anytime soon. The “Management” has gotten greedy, and I no longer call it the happiest place on earth. I actually call it “empty your wallet so our Board of Directors can line their pockets” place.
