We study the average ride wait times in Disney World and report on all the current trends! That way, you can be prepared for your next vacation. So, now that 2025 had begun, what did the average ride waits look like as the Holiday crowds disappeared? Should we be worried or relieved? Let’s find out!
Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.

Wait times at Magic Kingdom did start the trend of lowering times this week, but that’s only in a relative sense. TRON was still over 100 minutes, and all of the park’s major rides were near an hour average. (Also, Big Thunder Mountain was only open for part of the week, before closing for a year-long refurbishment.)
(REMINDER: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is currently only available with virtual queue and Lightning Lanes.)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 81 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash: 88minutes
- Rise of the Resistance: 90 minutes
Over in Hollywood Studios, wait times dropped as well, but due to the park’s smaller amount of rides and in-demand E-Tickets, over half of the park’s attractions still had average waits over 50 minutes at minimum.
EPCOT

- Living with the Land: 12 minutes
- Journey into Imagination: 15 minutes
- Turtle Talk with Crush: 17 minutes
- Gran Fiesta Tour: 19 minutes
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends: 22 minutes
- Spaceship Earth: 22 minutes
- Mission: SPACE: 25 minutes
- Soarin’: 46 minutes
- Frozen Ever After: 70 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: 84 minutes
The wait times in EPCOT followed the Magic Kingdom’s lead and got lower, with Ratatoullie dropping by 25 minutes… to a still wild 84-minute average.
(NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.)
