When you’re planning a trip to Disney World, it’s a good idea to check on the latest wait time trends so you know what to expect.

We study the average ride wait times in Disney World and report on all the current trends! That way, you can be prepared for your next vacation. This week saw Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios wait times decrease… and EPCOT wait times INCREASE…which is bizarre.
Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.
Magic Kingdom
Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait time.
(NOTE: Since Tron Lightcycle/Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure do not use standby lines, we have not included them here)

- Hall of Presidents: 0 minutes
- Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse: 4 minutes
- Carousel of Progress: 5 minutes
- Prince Charming Regal Carousel: 6 minutes
- Tom Sawyer Island: 7 minutes
- Mad Tea Party: 8 minutes
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant: 9 minutes
- Enchanted Tiki Room: 10 minutes
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover: 10 minutes
- Magic Carpets of Aladdin: 10 minutes
- Liberty Square Riverboat: 12 minutes
- Country Bear Musical Jamboree: 15 minutes
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 15 minutes
- Tomorrowland Speedway: 16 minutes
- Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini: 17 minutes
- it’s a small world: 18 minutes
- Pirates of the Caribbean: 18 minutes
- Enchanted Tales with Belle: 21 minutes
- Astro Orbiter: 24 minutes
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 25 minutes
- Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 30 minutes
- Haunted Mansion: 31 minutes
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 33 minutes
- Jungle Cruise: 35 minutes
- Space Mountain: 49 minutes
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 60 minutes.
The Magic Kingdom park saw minor decreases in wait times this week. None were major (the largest was approximately 4 minutes) but still, it’s worth noting that Walt Disney World’s busiest theme park saw times drop. (REMINDER: Tron Lightcycle/Run does not currently use a standby queue; it’s not included here, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure does not have a standby queue yet.)
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Read the list below to see the averages of the Hollywood Studios ride wait times, from low to high.

- Walt Disney Presents: 5 minutes
- Muppet Vision 3D: 10 minutes
- Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: 13 minutes
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 14 minutes
- Alien Swirling Saucers: 26 minutes
- Toy Story Mania: 42 minutes
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 43minutes
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 43 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 44 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance: 55 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash: 63 minutes
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 66 minutes
Hollywood Studios saw a CHANGE at the top, as Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster overtook Slinky Dog Dash for the park’s longest average wait. However, overall the park – – like Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom – – saw wait times generally fall.
EPCOT
See the average EPCOT attraction wait times from the week below.
(NOTE: Since Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not use a standby line, we have not included it here)

- Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along: 0 minutes
- Pixar Short Film Festival: 0 minutes
- Impressions de France: 0 minutes
- Reflections of China: 0 minutes
- Awesome Planet: 0 minutes
- Living with the Land: 7 minutes
- Gran Fiesta Tour: 8 minutes
- Journey into Imagination: 8 minutes
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends: 10 minutes
- Spaceship Earth: 13 minutes
- Turtle Talk with Crush: 15 minutes
- Mission: SPACE: 24 minutes
- Soarin’: 27 minutes
- Frozen Ever After: 45 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: 52 minutes
In opposition to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT saw wait times go UP almost across the board this week. Again, no major jumps, but increases are increases. (NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
The average wait times for Animal Kingdom’s attractions are listed below.

- The Boneyard: 0 minutes
- TriceraTop Spin: 6 minutes
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 10 minutes
- Dinosaur: 25 minutes
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: 22 minutes
- Expedition Everest: 33 minutes
- Na’vi River Journey: 46 minutes
- Kali River Rapids: 47 minutes
- Avatar Flight of Passage: 82 minutes
Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage remains the busiest ride at the park (and resort overall). That said, Animal Kingdom was similar to Magic Kingdom in that nearly all of the park’s rides saw a small decrease in wait time. Overall, we’re noticing a pattern.
