There’s a lot of talking about rope dropping at Disney World parks.
To fill you in, rope-dropping means getting there before the park opens, heading through security, and scanning in so you are ready to head to the rides as soon as they open the park. While there are advantages to doing this, especially if you have early park entry, we want to show you another option.
In case you are not a morning person, just want to sleep in on vacation, or maybe you have a breakfast reservation at your hotel that morning, there is another option for riding rides with short wait times. Yesterday, we noticed that EPCOT wait times were significantly less after 6 PM.
We saw wait times for Soarin’ as low as 15 minutes and Test Track as low as 30 minutes after 6PM. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was just 40 minutes at 9PM. Frozen Ever After, which usually has an 85-minute wait during the day, had just a 45-minute wait at 8PM.
So instead of hitting those popular rides first thing in the morning, do them in the evening. If you are wanting to get to EPCOT earlier, you can enjoy festival booths from the Food and Wine Festival, enjoy entertainment in the World Showcase, or hit those other rides like Living With The Land.
