7 Disney World Hotel Snacks You Should Leave the Parks For

We’ve had our fair share of Disney World snacks.

Mickey Pretzels are a classic!

From corn dog nuggets to Wookiee Cookies to Mickey pretzelswe’ve pretty much tried them all. But, sometimes, the best Disney snacks can’t be found in the parks. Instead, you’ll want to grab these Disney World hotel snacks worth leaving the parks for!

Zebra Domes

Over at Animal Kingdom Lodge, you’ll find a treat that’s got quite the cult following. We’re talking, of course, about Zebra Domes. These little beauties are made of a thin white cake base, Amarula Cream Liqueur mousse, white chocolate ganache, chocolate sprinkles, and a dark chocolate ganache drizzle.

These are seriously addicting, though we will admit the Amarula Cream Liqueur isn’t for everyone. But we could eat about a hundred of these. You can find them at Boma and The Mara.

Mac and Cheese

Next, we’re heading to Gasparilla Island Grill at the Grand Floridian to pick up what may be the best mac and cheese in all of Disney World — and no, we’re not kidding. We take cheese very seriously here. You can get the house-made Macaroni and Cheese as a side or as an entree.

This makes it a great snack or even a meal if you’re feelin’ it. It’s incredibly creamy, smooth, rich, and cheesy. There’s a ton of flavor here which can be hard to find with theme park mac and cheese.

Nooooooods

Oh ‘Ohaha Noodles, how we love thee. So simple, yet so good. These famous Stir Fried Noodles have become a cult classic — for a very good reason. They have a sweet soy, sesame, teriyaki sort of situation going on and they are oh-so-slurpable.

Of course, you can find them at ‘Ohana, but if you don’t have time or can’t snag a reservation, you can also order them off the secret menu at Tambu Lounge!

Tonga Toast

Another cult classic at the Polynesian is the divine Tonga Toast! It’s Banana-stuffed Sourdough Bread, battered, deep-fried, and dusted with Cinnamon-Sugar, served with Bacon or Sausage. And yes — it’s just as amazing as it sounds.

It’s available at Capt. Cook’s, but you can usually also find this sweet goodness over at Kona Café as well.

Bread Pudding

Are you sensing a pattern, yet? The Poly is basically a food lover’s paradise — at least it is to us! And we’re heading back to ‘Ohana to grab another sweet treat that we can’t seem to get enough of — the Bread Pudding!

‘Ohana Bread Pudding

This is one of the most popular desserts around the entire resort…for good reason. It comes a la mode with homemade Caramel Sauce. It’s the perfect ending to the all-you-care-to-enjoy meal you’ll have at this popular restaurant.

Beignets

Over at Port Orleans — French Quarter Resort, Scat Cat’s Club Cafe is where you’ll find an iconic New Orleans dessert with a Disney twist — Mickey Beignets! These pillowy fried dough pockets are dusted with powdered sugar and served warm.

Trust us, these are well worth the mess. Plus, you can often find specialty or seasonal beignets depending on what time of year you’re visiting.

No Way Jose Sundae

Last, but certainly not least, it’s time to visit Disney’s Beach Club Resort for some ice cream! Beaches & Cream is an old-fashioned style soda parlor with delicious eats and lots of sweets. We especially love the No Way Jose Sundae.

This monstrosity is a peanut butter and hot fudge sundae featuring chocolate and vanilla ice cream, peanut butter and chocolate morsels, whipped cream, and a cherry on top. The peanut butter chocolate combo is seriously unmatched and makes this one of the best snacks you can get outside the parks!

So, the next time you’re in Disney World, consider visiting these hotel spots to grab these snacks instead! And, as always, stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news. Happy snacking!
