Even though the exciting changes aren’t happening until May, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is getting some attention!
While we’re used to seeing Rise of the Resistance at the top of the wait times list, on Sunday, March 29th, another Star Wars attraction took the crown!
In case you haven’t heard, Smugglers Run is getting some huge changes on May 22nd! The change will introduce new storylines for the ride featuring the Mandalorian and Grogu, to coincide with the release of the new movie.
We expect wait times to increase in May when this change begins, but it looks like spring breakers are already making that happen! Just take a guess at how long the lines were — we’ll wait.
170 minutes!!! Yes, people waited nearly three hours for this. If you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass, don’t forget that you can book a return time for this attraction. Like most rides in Hollywood Studios, they are known to fill up, so if this is a must, grab a Lightning Lane early!
We also recently saw Disney test the double rider line again, meaning groups of two enter a separate line, so keep an eye out for that. Or, you can use the old-fashioned single rider line for a potentially shorter wait (warning: sometimes it’s longer!).
