NEW Star Wars Lightsaber Coming Soon to Disney Parks

Lightsabers are a super popular souvenir to bring home from Disney World, whether you buy a lightsaber or build your own!

Legacy Lightsabers are based on characters’ lightsabers from a variety of Star Wars content, and we’ve seen lightsabers belonging to Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rey Skywalker, and more. There’s a NEW lightsaber hilt coming soon to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and here’s what you need to know!

Coming soon to Disney World and Disneyland is the Padawan Caleb Dume Lightsaber Hilt! This new hilt was chosen by letting fans vote, and according to Disney, this one won an “overwhelming majority” of votes!

Caleb Dume, who later goes by Kanan Jarrus, went underground after the Emperor’s Jedi Knight purge. Because he was in hiding, he would keep his lightsaber disassembled on his belt so that he could not be discovered as a Jedi. We’ll keep you posted when Disney announces a release date!

We’ve already seen the Plo Koon Legacy Lightsaber Hilt revealed but now we have an official release date! This new hilt will be available at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in both Disneyland and Disney World beginning on July 8th, 2022.

And BIG NEWS! The Limited Edition Ahsoka Tano Legacy Lightsaber Hilt Set will be BACK for a limited time at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities only in Disney World! Only 6,000 sets were made worldwide and some of them will be available for purchase on July 1st, 2022 in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

If you want to buy a lightsaber in Disney World, head to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Hollywood Studios! There you can typically enter a virtual queue at the entrance, or you may encounter a long line to take a look at all the lightsabers.

And if you’d rather build your own lightsaber, check out Savi’s Workshop! For $219.99, you can customize a lightsaber by choosing your own designs as well as your choice of color. Advance reservations are highly recommended!
