New Star Wars Lightsabers and MORE Coming Soon to the Disney Parks

Is May the best month for Star Wars fans?

At the beginning of the month, we had a bunch of Star Wars themed goodies around the Disney Parks for May the Fourth, and now, we’re in the middle of Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, California. There have been tons of Star Wars announcements coming from the celebration like a new trailer for Andor coming to Disney+, and a new Star Wars series starring Jude Law. And now, they’ve got some news about big things coming to Batuu! 

A few new legacy lightsabers, a Camtono, and MORE were announced at Star Wars celebration today! These items are set to come soon to Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in both Disneyland and Disney’s Hollywood Studios! And some will be available online in the future as well. Let’s go through it all!

The first lightsaber is none other than the one belonging to Darth Sidious! If you want to bring home the weapon of Star Wars’ notorious sith lord, then you’re in luck! This is set to be released this summer.

If you’re more into Jedi, then Jedi Master Plo Koon’s lightsaber might be more your style! This will also be coming to the parks this summer.

But that’s not all! A new Obi-Wan Legacy Lightsaber Set is also coming soon to Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. It will be available for pre-order at shopDisney beginning May 31st at 7:00AM PT.

This set “includes the Lightsaber collectible based on the lightsaber used by the iconic Jedi Master in ‘Obi-Wan Kenobi,’ and includes the blade, hilt, belt clip and display stand.”

Another new item coming to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is a Camtono! These are safes that have been used throughout the Star Wars franchise to hold things like credits and precious metals like Beskar. It’s also something Star Wars fans will recognize as originating from a certain sort-of inside joke!

The one you can get in Galaxy’s Edge will have credits inside including Imperial, New Republic, and Mandalorian credits!

The Camtono will be available starting tonight at Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, and it’ll be on shopDisney starting May 31st.

A new doll will also be making her way to Galaxy’s Edge! This won’t be in Dok Ondar’s but instead in Toydarian Toymaker, and it’s Rey! Her hair and all of the details on her costume look adorable!

And a new Gorg plush is also coming to Black Spire Outpost!

And fans will also be able to pick up a Therii plush from Star Wars: Elee & Me.

And there’s more coming in the future! Once again, Disney is asking fans to VOTE for the lightsaber they want to see created next. That’s how the Cal Kestis Legacy Lightsaber Hilt actually got created.

Starting today, fans can vote for the hilt they’d like to see next. The options you can pick from are: Jocasta Nu, Sifo-Dyas, Quinlan Vos, Depa Billaba, Barriss Offee, or Kanan Jarrus.
