How Are the Holidays Affecting the Average Wait Times in Disney World?

It’s the holiday season in Disney World, which means festive foods, decorations, characters, and more.

But, it also means holiday crowds! And, we’ve definitely been seeing the crowds lately in the parks. One way we like to gauge just how busy it is in Disney World is by looking at the average wait times. So, come along with us as we check out which rides had the longest and shortest wait times in Disney World this week!

Magic Kingdom

The Jingle Cruise is here!

The wait times pretty much stayed the same this week compared to last — we even saw Jungle Cruise take the top spot again! Everyone just seems to be trying to get a ride on that Jingle Cruise. Peter Pan’s Flight had an average wait time of around 60 minutes, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was at 62 minutes, and Jungle Cruise had a wait of 65 minutes.

Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse: 0 minutes

Wait times went up a little on some rides, and down a little on others at Hollywood Studios. Rise of the Resistance had an average wait time of 122 minutes, while Slinky Dog Dash had a wait time of 74 minutes, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway was at 64 minutes.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: 15 minutes
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 17 minutes
Alien Swirling Saucers: 30 minutes
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 45 minutes
Toy Story Mania: 51 minutes
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 52 minutes
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 52 minutes
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 64 minutes
Slinky Dog Dash: 74 minutes

EPCOT

Like we’ve seen for the past few months, Frozen Ever After still has the longest average wait time in EPCOT at 86 minutes, while Test Track was at around 46 minutes, and Soarin’ at 37 minutes.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Flight of Passage

And, same as usual, Flight of Passage had the longest average wait times at Animal Kingdom, coming in at around 96 minutes. Then, Na’vi River Journey averaged around 60 minutes, and Kilimanjaro Safaris had an average wait of 53 minutes.
