We’re SHOCKED by Wait Times from Disney World Yesterday

When it comes to waiting in line for Disney World rides, it’s best to pack your patience. Of course, we have plenty of tips and tricks that can help you avoid those long lines.

But, sometimes, you time your trip just right and find that you don’t even really need our tips because the parks just really aren’t that crowded. Speaking of which, we happened to see wait times drop a bit yesterday from the day before — and were surprised to see TRON Lightcycle / Run with the highest wait of the day.

TRON is still relatively new, so it’s not too surprising that there would be a long wait for this ride — but we usually see the top spot go to Flight of Passage or Rise of the Resistance!

Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or parades and fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours depending on what Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to get a little extra time in the parks before everyone else gets there.

And, you can always take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass (and the new Premier Pass!) These are skip-the-line services that allow you to bypass the standby lines at popular Disney World rides.
