Will Lightning Lane Premier Pass Be WORTH IT in Disney World?

We’re just a few short days away from the debut of the NEW Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Disney World.

Now that Premier Pass has debuted at Disneyland, we’ve had a chance to get to know how it works over there. But, we’re still waiting to test it out at Disney World once October 30th rolls around and find out if it’ll REALLY be worth the hefty price tag.

Of course, if you don’t want to shell out hundreds of extra dollars for Lightning Lane Premier Pass at Disney World, there are still ways to avoid those long lines!

Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or parades and fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours depending on what Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to get a little extra time in the parks before everyone else gets there.

And, you can always take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass (and soon enough, the Premier Pass!) These are skip-the-line services that allow you to bypass the standby lines at popular Disney World rides. Disney recently switched over to this system instead of the previous Genie+.
