What Do Magic Kingdom Crowds Look Like BEFORE Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party?

The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of the season kicked off on August 15th, and as Disney World wait time EXPERTS, we knew this would present an interesting question: what do Magic Kingdom crowds look like before a special Halloween party?

We’re glad you asked! We’ve got the FULL LIST of Disney World wait times, including a look at the wait times in Magic Kingdom on a party night (meaning the park closes EARLY to regular guests).

Magic Kingdom

Magic Kingdom had a ROUGH start to the day with SEVEN closures in the first hour. Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train all had some of the worst issues, closing for multiple hours at a time. Thankfully, by the time Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party started up, the closures had been taken care of. As for the highest wait time, the party kept wait times pretty low, as TRON Lightcycle / Run and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train both tied at 65-minute waits.

Hollywood Studios also had a majorly rough day of closures, especially Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, and Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Slinky Dog Dash had the highest wait time of 140 minutes, which makes sense considering it was closed for the first five hours of the park day!
