If you’re heading to Disneyland Resort later this month, one of the most popular rides might be closed!

Disney California Adventure is home to many iconic attractions, but one of the rides that consistently attracts large crowds and long wait times is Radiator Springs Racers. However, this is your reminder that starting next week, this ride will be closed for refurbishment!
Starting on August 18th, no times are showing for this attraction, indicating that the refurbishment is set to begin. This is a standard refurbishment, which will include resurfacing the track, upgrading the lighting, and updating some audio and visual effects.

The refurbishment is expected to take around a month or longer, but there’s no official reopening date at this time. You’ll still want to head into the land to check out the Haul-O-Ween decorations that are likely to start popping up soon — there’s nothing like Cars Land during Halloween time, especially at night!

Don’t forget to check out the other Cars Land attractions, too! There’s Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree…

…and Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters!
