On April 1, Kevin Rafferty – one of the most prolific members of Walt Disney Imagineering – pumped the brakes on his daily trek, as well as his heralded Disney career, leaving behind a legacy that few, if any, will ever match.
Since it opened in 2012, Cars Land has been the must-do area for most guests at Disney California Adventure. On our recent visit to Disneyland, my family and I fell in love with this section of the theme park, too. A guest - even one who didn't ride the main attraction - would be hard-pressed not to enjoy the level of detail that makes Cars Land so immersive.

I confirmed that a classic Hidden Mickey was still in place on a display painting near the wall opposite the bottom of the stairs that lead down inside to the restaurant level of Ariels Grotto . It is still there made of white bubbles just to the left of a long green stem at the lower left of the sign that says Ariels Grotto Disney Princess Celebration.
