A lot of folks are heading to Disneyland this summer to enjoy the resort’s 70th Anniversary Celebration.
There’s plenty to do during the celebration, too, which will last through summer 2026. There are all kinds of entertainment, fun ride overlays, new additions to attractions, new activities, new food, and more. However, if you’ll be visiting Disneyland, particularly Disney California Adventure, this summer, there’s an upcoming ride closure you need to know about.
One of the most popular rides in Disney California Adventure is Radiator Springs Racers in Cars Land. Well, if you’re looking forward to hopping on a ride on the racers, you need to know that, according to Scott Gustin, Radiator Springs Racers will be closed on August 18th for a standard refurbishment.
The refurbishment will involve resurfacing the track, upgrading the lighting, and updating some audio and visual effects. It’s expected to take about a month, so if you’re visiting during that time, the ride may be closed. However, that will also be about the time that Halloween Time begins in Disneyland, so you’ll still be able to enjoy the fun Haul-O-Ween decorations the land gets during that time.
