While announcing an upcoming event, Disney might have subtly dropped another major update!

The Disneyland Resort is currently celebrating its 70th Anniversary, which means special shows, limited-time snacks, fun theming, and now even a special prize! Disney just announced a NEW 70th Anniversary sweepstakes, and in doing so, might have subtly just revealed an important 70th Anniversary date.
Disney+recently announced a Disneyland 70th Anniversary Sweepstakes worth over $13,000, and the parameters are especially interesting, as they might indicate when the 70th Anniversary might actually end.

The sweepstakes itself features a Disneyland 70th Anniversary vacation that includes the following for a grand prize winner:
- Round-trip coach airfare for up to four people
- Ground transportation from the airport to Disneyland
- Concierge-level room for three nights at the Disneyland Resort
- 3-Day Park Hopper Tickets for your group
- A $800 Disney gift card
- A VIP Tour Guide for up to eight hours during one of the days of your trip
- Reserved viewing for World of Color Happiness at Disney California Adventure
- Disneyland 70th Anniversary Merchandise, including: Celebration Hip Pack, Celebration Headband, Celebration Bubble Wand with Interchangeable Character Hats, Celebration Mug, Key to Disneyland, Celebration Mickey Mouse Plush, Celebration Minnie Mouse Plush, and Celebration Water Bottle

To enter the sweepstakes, you must be a legal resident of the United States and at least 18 years of age. You can enter through the Disney+ Perks website if you’re a Disney+ subscriber. If you’re not a subscriber, you can complete the alternative mail-in entry option.

Here’s the kicker: Travel for this prize must be completed between the dates of October 10th, 2025, through August 14th, 2026.
The celebration, right now, is slated to continue into the summer of 2026. HOWEVER, this sweepstakes might have subtly revealed that the last day of the 70th Anniversary Celebration could be Friday, August 14th, 2026!

This is a development we’ll continue to monitor, and when Disneyland reveals the last day of the celebration, we’ll be sure to let you know!
