Hold Up. Are Ride Wait Times Actually Going DOWN at Disney World?

A BUNCH of new rides and experiences just opened at Disney World, and if you’re planning an upcoming trip to check them all out, be prepared for crowds and long wait times!

Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during mealtimes, parades, or fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, depending on which Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to enjoy a little extra time in the parks before everyone else arrives.

And, you can always take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass (and Premier Pass!) These are skip-the-line services that allow you to bypass the standby lines at popular Disney World rides. You can read all about Lightning Lanes here.
