Rope dropping, which is where you plan to get to the parks before it opens, and once the rope “drops,” you get in line for your first attraction. You’re typically the first group of people to get on the attraction, meaning there’s barely any wait! It can be a great way to barely wait at some of Disney World’s most popular rides.

There are quite a few popular routes to take for rope dropping in Hollywood Studios. Some include Rise of the Resistance, Slinky Dog Dash, and even Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Rise of the Resistance can be pretty risky since it doesn’t always open on time, but this time, it was Runaway Railway that would have messed with your plans if you headed straight there!
