Disney’s Hollywood Studios Has Two NEW Characters Meeting!

Changes are happening over in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and while some of them are on the schedule for the next week or so, some of them are happening RIGHT now!

Next week is going to be huge in the park, with the official opening of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets AND the beginning of the phased opening of The Walt Disney Studios (formerly Animation Courtyard) both on May 26th, right along with that being the first day of Cool KIDS’ SUMMER taking place around the entire resort this season. However, it looks like Disney is beginning to drop some of these additions a little early, and you won’t find us complaining!

While we were walking around the upcoming Walt Disney Studios area of the park yesterday, we noticed not one, but TWO new faces to the area, and found out it’s possible they’ll be part of the new collection of characters meeting in this section of the park!

We spotted Mulan first, who was meeting guests in a makeshift line that Cast Members were helping to create. She was wonderful as always, and seeing her reminds us to get down to business and gear up for a great day in the park.

When Mulan stepped back inside for a moment to make sure Mushu wasn’t causing trouble, Rapunzel came out to say hello!

She was meeting in the same spot as Mulan, but once Walt Disney Studios officially opens, it’s very possible they’ll be moving inside the walls. Keep in mind that their meeting spot could change again, as not every part of Walt Disney Studios will open on May 26th, and we could see more permanent spots for them arrive later.

We do know that meeting characters will be a big part of the offerings available inside the Walt Disney Studios section of the park, so we can’t wait to see who else we’ll be able to meet.
