A Week After Reopening, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster’s Average Wait Time Dropped by 13%

When you’re planning a trip to Disney World, it’s a good idea to check on the latest wait time trends so you know what to expect. This past week saw something unprecedented.

Hollywood Studios

The Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster attraction’s average wait time fell back to earth a bit this week, but Hollywood Studios remained the only one of Disney World’s theme parks to have TWO rides with average wait times over 60 minutes.

Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.

Disney Vacation Planner

Magic Kingdom

Here are the average weekly wait times for each ride below, from shortest to longest wait time:

(NOTE: Since Tron Lightcycle/Run and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure do not use standby lines, we have not included them here)

Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion

Wait times at the Magic Kingdom stayed relatively staid this week, with only slight variations around the park. Things might change next week thanks to Peter Pan’s Flight being closed for the full week.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Read the list below to see the Hollywood Studios ride wait times averages, from low to high.

It’s OPEN!

While Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster’s wait time did decrease as the excitement over its reopening settled down, it still sat an hour.

EPCOT

(NOTE: Since Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not use a standby line, we have not included it here)

Mission: SPACE

EPCOT’s wait time champion was still Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure this week, but Frozen Ever After closed the gap to within 4 minutes.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The average wait times for Animal Kingdom’s attractions are listed below.

Rainy Expedition Everest

Flight of Passage remains far and away the most popular ride at Animal Kingdom, with a large lead for the highest average wait time.
