CONFIRMED: Price Increases Hit a Disney’s Animal Kingdom Restaurant

When it comes to deciding which Disney World park has the best food, we might often argue that it’s Disney’s Animal Kingdom. From Asian-themed dishes to African-inspired restaurants to Pandora treats, Animal Kingdom certainly has some of the most unique food.

One of the most popular restaurants in Animal Kingdom might be Yak & Yeti Restaurant with its Asian-inspired fare. Well, if you dine there in the future, you might be surprised to discover that food and drinks just got a little pricier there.

Let’s start with the “Small Plates” part of the menu. Pork Pot Stickers, Wok-Fried Green Beans, and Pork Egg Rolls increased from $12.99 to $13.29, while Firecracker Shrimp went up from $14.99 to $15.49. “Shareables” also had some price increases:

  • Kimchi Calamari increased from $16.49 to $16.99
  • Lettuce Cups increased from $20.99 to $21.49
  • Crab Rangoon Dip increased from $18.99 to $20.49
  • Korean Fried Chicken increased from $17.99 to $18.49
  • Ahi Tuna Nachos increased from $22.99 to $23.79

The “Soups and Salads” portion of the menu also saw price increases. Wonton Soup is now $8.49, up from $7.99, while a House Salad will not set you back $10.29, instead of the previous $9.99. The Seared Tuna Salad increased from $24.99 to $25.79, while the Chop Chop Chicken Salad changed from $20.99 to $21.49. The Chop Chop Shrimp Salad increased to $23.49 from $22.99.

The “Noodles & Bowls” section of the menu also saw these changes:

  • Dragon Roll Bowl increased from $29.99 to $30.79
  • Lo Mein Chicken increased from $22.99 to $23.59
  • Lo Mein Shrimp increased from $23.99 to $24.59
  • Lo Mein – Combo increased from $23.99 to $24.59
  • Vegetable Lo Mein increased from $21.99 to $22.59
  • Cantonese Pork Belly Bowl increased from $36.99 to $37.99

The “Specialties” part of the menu saw increases with Chicken Tikka Masala, which went up to $28.79 from $27.99. Coconut Shrimp is now $27.99, up from $28.79. Bhaktapur Duck increased from $39.99 to $40.99.

The “Wok” offerings changed as follows:

  • Korean Beef increased from $25.99 to $26.79
  • Honey Chicken increased from $22.99 to $23.59
  • Sweet & Sour Chicken increased from $22.99 to $23.59
  • Thai Basil Chicken increased from $28.99 to $29.79

Under “Grilled,” Hibachi Steak & Shrimp went up from $39.99 to $40.99, while the Plant Burger increased from $23.99 to $24.59The Kobe Beef Burger changed from $24.99 to $25.79, while the Korean Kimchi Burger increased from $27.99 to $28.79.

Even side dishes went up in price:

  • House Fried Rice increased from $17.49 to $17.99
  • Chicken Fried Rice increased from $11.49 to $11.79
  • Steamed Rice – Jasmine or Brown Rice increased from $7.49 to $7.79
  • Sauteed Baby Bok Choy increased from $11.99 to $12.49
  • Garlic Noodles increased from $12.99 to $13.49
  • Crab Fried Rice increased from $22.99 to $23.79
  • Coconut Shrimp increased from $10.99 to $11.29
