NEWS: 'Toy Story' Characters Are CHANGING at Disney Parks

In a few weeks, we’re all heading to the theatre to get hit with a wave of nostalgia when we watch the fifth installment of the Toy Story franchise.

All our favorite toys are coming BACK for Toy Story 5 as the new film hits theatres on June 19th. The movie will see the toys take on a new era of what grabs kids’ attention…technology. With the movie just a few weeks away, the Disney parks are bringing some NEW looks to our favorite Toy Story characters!

Disney just teased on social media that our favorite Toy Story characters will be at the Disney parks with a whole new look. Toy Story 5 is going to introduce new characters and bring back beloved characters, with certain returning favorites rocking new accessories.

Ahead of the theatrical release, be on the lookout for Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear, who will be wearing some new accessories at Disney World and Disneyland. We got a first look thanks to a video shared on Disney’s Instagram. Check it out below!

Right off the bat, we noticed Woody is wearing a new scarf bandana, which you see in the trailer for the new movie. Jessie finally has her new sheriff’s badge, which she got from Woody at the end of Toy Story 4. Buzz has a shiny new star sticker badge on his suit, as well. We can’t wait to see the characters with a new look!

Remember, the new movie is releasing in theatres on June 19th, and tickets could be going on sale fairly soon. The film will follow the toys in conflict with technology and electronics, as a new generation of kids is more connected to screens than to their imagination.
