Fans React to the NEW Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring the Muppets in Disney World

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is finally here! The ride officially opened on May 26th, 2026, and we’re already seeing people’s reactions online from previews.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets replaced the iconic Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, which has been a staple of Disney’s Hollywood Studios since 1999. So naturally, a lot of people have a lot of thoughts!

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets starts with your VIP pass to see Electric Mayhem at G-Force Records with Kermit and Miss Piggy. There’s just one big problem: the band has been rocking out so hard that they lost track of time and are running late for their big show! So it’s up to you to drive them there with the help of a L.I.M.O., aka Lengthy Immediate Motion Objects.

Personally, we loved just how MUCH of the Muppets are represented in the ride, along with nods to Muppet*Vision 3D. To quote Quincy, “I have many demands, and they were all met.” We also loved just how many Easter eggs the ride has.

Of course, we shared our experience with you, and you had some thoughts, too. Concerning the  pre-show, Connie commented, “The bucket of fish on ice between them is funny!” Main Street Maine-iacs loved it all and wrote, “Wow! it’s all just a work of art!!”

Samuel commented, “Looks so cool! I LOVE the Muppets so much!!”

Over on Instagram, @happilyadventuresafter commented, “This looks so much fun! I love this!!”

Another Instagram user, @mattroncone wrote: “@allearsnet I would love Disney to relocate the Muppet*Vision 3D film back in DCA, but the Muppets version of this coaster really ROCKS!!! Happy the Muppets are back at Hollywood Studios. 🥰💚🌈”

Of course, some people are still not thrilled about the changes. Noreen wrote, “Another classic ruined,” while Brandon commented, “It’s a real shame they did such a lazy, uninspired job of the Muppet takeover of RnRC.”

Patrick wrote, “They never should have changed it..better as Aerosmith.”

On Instagram, @psychedlic_snowflake commented, “But they put them on a ride that SO many can’t do. So I used to be able to enjoy the show and now I, and so many others, cannot. That’s messed up.”

Pro tip: You can still enjoy the queue and skip the ride itself by using the “chicken out” exit. Just ask a Cast Member, and they’ll direct you to an exit. Most Disney rides offer this as an option if you want to check out the queue and pre-show, but not the actual ride.
