Why Disney World Wait Times Tell Us Something BIG

🎶 It’s the most wonderful time of the year. 🎶 It’s time to celebrate the holidays at Disney World!

CROWDS in Magic Kingdom

It’s not a surprise that crowds tend to increase in Disney World during the holidays, with many students enjoying school breaks and families taking vacations. One thing we do every week is put together all the average wait times from the past week, which can give you a clue about what to expect during your upcoming visit. So have wait times started to increase yet after decreasing for weeks? Find out here!

One thing pretty much universally disliked about Disney World are the lines, but there are ways to work around them. You can purchase Genie+ to gain access to Lightning Lanes, which are much faster compared to standby lanes. But since Genie+ costs $15 to $22 per person, per day (or more in the future), it might be difficult for you to decide whether to make the investment.

So before you scroll down, why not jot down all your favorite rides, and then make a note about which of them tend to have those really long wait times? This should help you decide whether Genie+ would actually be a worthy investment for your needs. And without further ado, let’s take a look at the average wait times for Disney World rides this past week!

In Magic Kingdom, Jungle Cruise was at 57 minutes (last week the average time was 38), Peter Pan’s Flight was at 60 minutes (versus 46 last week), and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was at 63 minutes (up from 48 minutes last week).
