Why We're Skipping Disneyland on Friday and Going HERE Instead

Okay, so 626 Day has become a bit of an official Disney holiday, being that Stitch is known as Experiment 626 in Lilo and Stitch. So that means June 26th (aka 6-26) is a great day to celebrate all things Stitch.

Now, regularly, we would go to Disney World and hang out with Stitch in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom and eat our way through some Stitch-inspired treats, but this year, we’re going to a Stitch Beach Bash instead because that sounds like SO much fun.

In celebration of 626 Day and all things Stitch, Disney is hosting a beach party on June 26th at Fashion Island, Newport Beach, CA, with a special pop-up. The limited-time pop-up experience will include all kinds of fun Stitch-themed things, and even better? It’s FREE and open to the public. So if you love Stitch and want to spend some time celebrating Stitch at the beach, you should come!

Even better? The event will include FREE Hula Girls Shave Ice and giveaways for the first 100 people who show up, while supplies last. The event starts at noon and runs through 6 P.M., so you’ll want to arrive early if you want to get some freebies.
