Well, if you can believe it, we’re already into the second half of August! Time sure is flying, especially when there are pumpkins up in the parks, tricking our minds into thinking it’s fall.

Kids are going back to school and summer is winding down. But, there are also a lot of things opening up in Disney World, like the new BoardWalk Deli, Victoria & Alberts, and the Harmony Barbershop. So, are people crowding into the parks or are their vacations over? Let’s see if we can tell from the wait times last week in Disney World!
Magic Kingdom
In Magic Kingdom, Splash Mountain was at 40 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight was at 49 minutes, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was at 55 minutes.

Walt Disney Presents: 13 minutes
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: 13 minutes
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 15 minutes
Alien Swirling Saucers: 30 minutes
Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 44 minutes
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 52 minutes
Toy Story Mania: 56 minutes
Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 60 minutes

Frozen Ever After had the highest average wait time in EPCOT at 61 minutes. Then, we had Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 60 minutes and Test Track at 58 minutes.

Impressions de France: 0 minutes
Reflections of China: 0 minutes
Awesome Planet: 0 minutes

And, same as usual, Flight of Passage had the longest average wait times at Animal Kingdom, coming in at around 79 minutes. Then, Na’vi River Journey averaged around 47 minutes, and both Kali River Rapids and Kilimanjaro Safaris at 36 minutes.

Those were all of the average wait times for this past week in Disney World! Compared to last week, a lot of the wait times went down, and some pretty significantly! So, it looks like the back-to-school season might be bringing smaller crowds.
