The Worst Thing About Disney World in the Summer Isn’t the Heat, It’s the Wait Times

It’s been pretty busy in Disney World lately, and we wouldn’t expect anything less from the summer months.

The other thing we can expect in the summer in Disney World is the HEAT. It gets super toasty in the summertime, with the temperatures sometimes reaching up into the triple digits. And, one thing that’s not super fun to do in the heat — wait in really long lines. So, will you be waiting out in the hot weather soon? Let’s take a look at this week’s average wait times to find out!

Magic Kingdom

The wait times pretty much stayed the same this week compared to last week. Peter Pan’s Flight was at 63 minutes, Jungle Cruise had an average wait time of 65 minutes, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was at 72 minutes.

Rise of the Resistance had an average wait time of 122 minutes this week, Tower of Terror was at 102 minutes, while Slinky Dog Dash had a wait time of 90 minutes.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy: 15 minutes
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 22 minutes

And, same as usual, Flight of Passage had the longest average wait times at Animal Kingdom, coming in at around 102 minutes. Then, Na’vi River Journey averaged around 60 minutes, and Kali River Rapids had an average wait of 45 minutes.
