BREAKING: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Is RETURNING To Disney World!

Last year, Disney introduced us to their new Disney Very Merriest After Hours Event that replaced their usual Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event due to COVID-19 concerns.

Very Merriest was certainly popular, although it was also pretty pricey

The event featured special treats, an exclusive fireworks show, and much more, but a big question was if it all was worth its hefty price tag. All year long, we’ve been wondering if Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party would return, and now, we’re excited that the answer is YES and can share this year’s party dates with you!

This year, the event will take place on select dates from November 8th-December 22nd. We can’t wait to check out all the returning offerings!

Tickets will cost $149-$199 per person and become increasingly more expensive as the dates approach Christmas. To purchase tickets, guests can head over to Disney World’s website starting June 30th, 2022.

Once Upon a Christmastime parade

Many fan favorites are returning this year that we can’t wait to check out. Disney has announced that the Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration stage show will be back, along with the popular Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Each evening, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks will light up the sky once again.

Ending with a classic Santa Claus finale!

If you’re feeling snacky, you’ll be able to stop at designated spots around the park to pick up complimentary cookies and hot cocoa. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe will host a special North Pole dance party during the event, and the Disney Junior Jingle Jam will return to Storybook Circus for the little ones who like to get down and boogie. Over at the Rockettower Plaza Stage, check out the stage show “A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas” to see some of your favorite characters.

As always, we’ve got some pretty awesome ride overlays scheduled for this holiday season. The Jungle Cruise will transform into the iconic Jingle Cruise for guests visiting during those few months, but for guests exclusive to the party, you can enjoy overlays on Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, and Mad Tea Party.

Jungle Cruise has its holiday overlay every year!

And finally, they’ve got special things in store for the 50th Anniversary! There will be THREE new photo opportunities, and guests will also receive “a special 50th Anniversary commemorative keepsake, themed for the holidays.”

So if you’re hoping to attend this year, set those alarms for June 30th to grab your tickets! Tickets are also still available for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party during the fall, so it’s up to you to decide which one you want to attend this year. (Or if you want to go to both — we’re totally on board with that!) We’re excited to see these holiday offerings going back to normal, and we’ll be there on opening night to cover all the happenings.

  1. I can’t wait to attend the Christmas Party again this year. Do you have any idea if they will have the event at Tony’s Italian Restaurant like they had in the previous year?
