This Disney World Ride Is CLOSING Forever, But You Wouldn’t Know That Based on Wait Times

Disney World is undergoing quite a few different transformations right now. At Magic Kingdom, Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America have closed to make way for a new Cars-themed area, and at Animal Kingdom, DinoLand U.S.A. will eventually be transformed into Pueblo Esperanza.

While part of DinoLand has already closed, its main ride, DINOSAUR, remains open — but you’d hardly know it was closing forever based on its current wait times.

Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or parades and fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, depending on which Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to get a little extra time in the parks before everyone else gets there.

And, you can always take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass (and the new Premier Pass!) These are skip-the-line services that allow you to bypass the standby lines at popular Disney World rides.
