Picking where to eat at Disneyland is honestly a lot harder than people realize!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by Bayside Brews at Disney California Adventure and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
Bayside Brews is a snack stand that you’ll find located in Paradise Gardens Park. It’s to the right of Pixar Pier if you’re facing towards it. Paradise Gardens is home to attractions such as The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure and Goofy’s Flight School.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
Since it’s a place to grab snacks and beverages, there isn’t necessarily a designated seating spot. You’ll have to find somewhere to sit and enjoy what you buy, although we like grabbing our stuff and bringing it to our next spot on a busy Disney day.

At this location, you’ll find the classic soft Jalapeno Cheese-filled Pretzel, Cream Cheese-filled Pretzel, or Mickey Mouse Pretzel!
But enough about that, what are we eating?! (You’ve probably got an idea).
Food & Drinks
First up, we grabbed the Cream Cheese Pretzel for $7.29. We highly recommend eating this while it’s hot; that’s when it’s at its best. The bread on this one was pretty soft and doughy, with a sweeter flavor for a pretzel.

Inside was filled with the sweet cream cheese, and it was creamy! We found it complemented the sweet pretzel bread very well. The filling on this was lacking a little bit in our opinion.

Next, we got the Jalapeño Pretzel for $7.29. In our opinion, all pretzels should be eaten right after ordering — and the same goes for this one. If you wait too long, this one can get a little hard. To our surprise, the jalapeño filling for this was pretty light — not only for spiciness, but for how much it was filled (maybe it was just ours).

At first, we got the sweet pretzel bread flavor after a crunchy bite into the pretzel, followed by a light and creamy jalapeño flavor. We honestly felt like we wanted more of a jalapeño flavor, since the spice was lighter than we expected. We liked it, but we felt like this one needed to be fresher and was lacking in the filling.

To drink, we picked up the Lychee Margarita for $18.50. This had to be our favorite thing we got out of the three items. The first few sips are just refreshing citrus and lychee flavors. When we mixed it a little, we started to taste that tequila!

It wasn’t too strong and made for a light, refreshing cocktail. The lychee brought some sweet yet sour/tart flavors with light floral flavors. It was the perfect pair for the refreshing citrus flavors in the margarita! The only thing we would maybe add is a salt rim — for fun.

Magic or Tragic?
This Disneyland restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You want a quick and easy snack! If you’re hungry and on the run to your next ride, this is a great stop to grab something quick and easy.
- You’re a pretzel fan! If you love Disneyland pretzels, this one has more options and flavors than other spots.
- You want a unique alcoholic beverage! The drink we got was amazing, and it’s worth a trip over to the stand for it.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You’re looking for a meal! If you’re in the mood for a good meal, no matter the time of day, we recommend you go somewhere else with more filling food.
- You aren’t a pretzel person! This really goes without saying, as pretzels are the main snack at this location.

Overall, we really like this spot. It’s super easy to grab a quick bite or get a unique beverage! We’ll hit it from time to time when we’re at Disneyland, and we’re hungry for a snack.
In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more dining spots you need to check out at Disneyland. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
