“My Dream Is to Complete the Disney Passport” Fans Rank Every Disney Park and #2 Surprised Us!

If you suddenly won a completely free week at any Disney resort on Earth — flights, food, hotels, and pixie dust all included — where are you touching down first? Disney fans shocked us with their answers.

Fantasy Springs in Tokyo DisneySea

When we asked our AllEars readers this question, the answers came in, and we were surprised. Some were determined to check off their final park and complete their “Disney passport,” while others wanted to relive old favorites. And after tallying the votes, we got a ranking list that made perfect sense,  except for one surprising twist.

1. Tokyo Disney Resort — The Unquestioned Champion

Coming in at number one with overwhelming support, Tokyo Disney Resort continues its reign as the gold standard for Disney fans everywhere. Whether it’s the jaw-dropping detail of Tokyo DisneySea (a park many Disney fans call the best on the planet), the immaculate service, or the next-level snack game, Tokyo consistently wins hearts.

Our reader, Mariah, wrote, “My dream is to complete the Disney passport, and I can’t imagine that I would be able to go to Tokyo DisneySea on my own, so that’s my #1 bucket list dream item!” Fans also praised the park’s rides, the fun merch, and the park’s famously efficient operations. Many readers said that if they could only visit one Disney park in their lifetime… this would be it.

2. Walt Disney World — The Biggest Surprise

Here’s the shocker: Disney World ranked second — even above several international parks. You’d think voters would prioritize destinations they’ve never visited, but many of our readers wrote that they would still choose Disney World. Michelle wrote, “I’m going to WDW and staying at the Riviera. I love Disney World, and Epcot is my favorite park. The Riviera has always been on my bucket list.”

Why? Because fans wanted to experience the things they normally skip — staying in deluxe resorts like Disney’s Riviera Resort, booking VIP tours, dining at bucket-list restaurants, or finally doing that perfect, no-budget Disney week. Even seasoned visitors said there’s so much they’ve never done. It turns out that familiarity, combined with endless possibilities, beats something new for many.

3. Shanghai Disney Resort — The Rising Star

Shanghai Disneyland has been on fans’ radar for years, and it solidly earned third place. For many, it’s the park they dream of visiting to “complete their Disney passport.” The attractions and food at this Disney park are a home run. Guests will soon be able to experience an all-new Spider-Man themed coaster coming to Shanghai Disneyland. Not to mention the revolutionary Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure, and the massive Enchanted Storybook Castle make this one of Disney’s most technologically advanced destinations.

4. Disneyland Resort — The OG

There’s nothing quite like stepping into Disneyland, where it all began. Disneyland ranked fourth thanks to fans who crave that pure Walt-era nostalgia. With classics like the Matterhorn Bobsleds, Indiana Jones Adventure, and the cozy, walkable layout. It’s a must-visit for any Disney lover.
Many commenters said it holds a special place in their heart because it feels the most “intimate”. It’s a Disney resort where you can slow down, soak in the magic, and experience history.

5. Disneyland Paris — The Most Stylish Disney Park

Fifth on the list, Disneyland Paris is known for its beautiful design. Between the dreamy castle (which Emma will argue is the prettiest one of all), the European architecture, and beautifully detailed lands, fans said it feels like a fairytale brought to life. Readers love that a trip to Disney Paris means combining theme parks with real European travel — pastries in the morning, Sleeping Beauty’s Castle in the afternoon.

6. Hong Kong Disneyland — Small but Mighty

Rounding out the list at number six is Hong Kong Disneyland. This is a park many fans say is underrated. With gorgeous lands like Mystic Point (home to the beloved Mystic Manor) and the new World of Frozen area, it’s a compact park packed with quality. We don’t think it is necessarily last on everyone’s list, but we think fans might forget this one.
