The WORST Time To Get in Line for This Disney World Ride

Happy day after Cinco de Mayo! Whether you were busy celebrating yesterday or not, Disney World was full of people having the time of their lives.

While there weren’t any official festivities taking place around the parks, plenty of folks still made their way to the Most Magical Place on Earth. But, was it enough to have an impact on Disney World wait times? Let’s find out!

While Disney World wait times weren’t anything too out of the ordinary yesterday, that doesn’t mean there weren’t still lines! This is especially true at Animal Kingdom, where the closure of one land is having an impact on wait times. Rope dropping Flight of Passage is probably not your best bet right now.

Our top tips for avoiding long lines without spending any extra money are to rope drop the parks (get there right when — or before — they open), get in line during meal times or parades and fireworks, or wait until people start leaving for the night!

You can also take advantage of things like Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours, depending on which Disney hotel you’re staying at. These offerings allow hotel guests to get a little extra time in the parks before everyone else gets there.

And, you can always take advantage of Lightning Lane Multi Pass or Single Pass (and the new Premier Pass!) These are skip-the-line services that allow you to bypass the standby lines at popular Disney World rides.
