It may be hot and crowded in Disney World, but people are still flocking to the parks in droves — we won’t let the heat keep us from having a good time in the parks, after all!
This is probably the most “normal” summer at the resort we’ve seen since 2019, so it makes sense that many families are spending their precious vacation time in Disney World. That does lead to long lines though, particularly for Disney World’s most popular rides (we’re looking at you, Rise of the Resistance and Flight of Passage) — but, there are still some rides that you can hop on with a 15-minute standby wait or less!
Of course, if you’re tackling some of the more popular rides this summer, you’ll want to pack your patience along with all that sunscreen and Disney tees. You can skip the long lines by purchasing Disney Genie+, which lets you access the Lightning Lanes of many rides or you can also purchase the Individual Attraction Selection option to pay for those rides that offer it. But, you don’t have to!
Don’t want to pay extra to skip those long lines? You can always keep an eye on wait times through the free part of Disney Genie, which can recommend times to visit those rides. Also, don’t forget to hit up those rides that are less popular — many of those still have lower wait times.
