We study the average ride wait times in Disney World and report on all the current trends! That way, you can be prepared for your next vacation. So, now that October has ended, what do the average ride waits look like? Should we be worried or relieved? Let’s find out!
Let’s take a look at this past week’s average wait times.
The wait times at Rise of the Resistance dropped a whopping near-50% this week, setting the tone for some of the lowest wait times we’ve seen all year at Disney World.
Let’s take a look at the Disney World wait times from the final week of October.
Magic Kingdom
Below is the average weekly wait time for each ride, from shortest to longest wait time.
- Hall of Presidents: 3 minutes
- Tom Sawyer Island: 3 minutes
- Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse: 4 minutes
- Carousel of Progress: 5 minutes
- Prince Charming Regal Carousel: 6 minutes
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover: 7 minutes
- Mad Tea Party: 7 minutes
- Enchanted Tiki Room: 7 minutes
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant: 8 minutes
- Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini: 9 minutes
- Magic Carpets of Aladdin: 10 minutes
- Country Bear Musical Jamboree: 10 minutes
- Tomorrowland Speedway: 11 minutes
- it’s a small world: 12 minutes
- Liberty Square Riverboat: 13 minutes
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic: 14 minutes
- Pirates of the Caribbean: 15 minutes
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin: 16 minutes
- Enchanted Tales with Belle: 16 minutes
- Astro Orbiter: 17 minutes
- Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh: 19 minutes
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad: 22 minutes
- Space Mountain: 23 minutes
- Haunted Mansion: 32 minutes
- Peter Pan’s Flight: 34 minutes
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train: 40 minutes
- TRON Lightcycle / Run: 55 minutes
Wait times at Magic Kingdom started the trend of drops, with almost every major ride in the park taking a dip. However, TRON Lightcycle / Run was the busiest attraction at the resort.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Walt Disney Presents: 2 minutes
- Muppet*Vision 3D: 10 minutes
- Star Tours – The Adventures Continue: 6 minutes
- Alien Swirling Saucers: 25 minutes
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: 26 minutes
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run: 27 minutes
- Toy Story Mania: 29 minutes
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway: 36 minutes
- Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith: 40 minutes
- Rise of the Resistance: 48 minutes
- Slinky Dog Dash: 55 minutes
Hollywood Studios‘ Rise of the Resistance saw the biggest drop of the week, plummeting nearly 50%, losing not only it’s spot at the top of the overall Disney World list, but also the Hollywood Studios list, as it lost out to Slinky Dog Dash.
EPCOT

- Gran Fiesta Tour: 8 minutes
- Journey into Imagination: 8 minutes
- Living with the Land: 10 minutes
- Spaceship Earth: 11 minutes
- The Seas with Nemo and Friends: 12 minutes
- Turtle Talk with Crush: 15 minutes
- Mission: SPACE: 16 minutes
- Soarin’: 22 minutes
- Frozen Ever After: 45 minutes
- Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure: 46 minutes
The wait times in EPCOT dropped as well, with only two rides over 40 minutes.
(NOTE: Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind does not currently use a standby queue, so it’s not included here.)
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- The Boneyard: 0 minutes
- TriceraTop Spin: 5 minutes
- It’s Tough to Be a Bug: 9 minutes
- Kali River Rapids: 14 minutes
- Dinosaur: 11 minutes
- Expedition Everest: 19 minutes
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: 34 minutes
- Na’vi River Journey: 40 minutes
- Avatar Flight of Passage: 47 minutes
Animal Kingdom’s Flight of Passage remained the park’s busiest attraction but only had a 7-minute lead over River Journey. Overall, the park’s ride times were very top-heavy. The top three rides were over 30 minutes, and everything else was under 20.
