8 MAJOR Announcements Disney Just Revealed

We’re only months away from the 2026 edition of the D23 Ultimate Fan Event, and Disney just released a slew of details about the three-day celebration, which will be held at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center, the arena home of the NHL’s Anaheim Ducks.

This year’s event will take place from August 14th through the 16th, 2026. It will offer fans exclusive first access to the latest in Disney storytelling, creativity, and innovation.

Tickets for the event will be released in phases across D23’s various membership levels. Tickets for the event will go on sale beginning Tuesday, March 31st, at 1:00 PM EST/10:00 AM PST for current D23 Gold Charter Members during an exclusive 24-hour window. Next, a priority purchase window for D23 Gold Members on Essential, Choice, and Complete plans will start on Thursday, April 2nd, at 1:00 PM EST/10:00 AM PST. All other D23 Gold Members will be able to join the queue at 3:00 PM EST/12:00 PM PST that same day.

Furthermore, each Gold Member may purchase tickets for themselves and up to five guests. Guests of D23 Gold Members do not need to be D23 Gold Members themselves to attend.

Ticket options for this year’s event include:

  • The D23 Fan Pass, which provides access to the Anaheim Convention Center only. There are three levels of Fan Pass: $49 (Afternoon Only), $99 (1‑Day), or $297 (3‑Day)
  • The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass, which includes access to both the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center showcases, with pricing beginning at $99 for a 1‑Day and $297 for a 3‑Day package
  • The D23 Ultimate Preferred Fan Pass, which includes three days of floor seating for events at the Honda Center, three days of Anaheim Convention Center access, and exclusive Random Selection Process (RSP) opportunities for select limited-edition pins, with pricing ranging from $1,299 to $2,599 depending on location.

The festivities will begin on Thursday, August 13th, with D23 Day at the Disneyland Resort. The day will feature a Disney Legends Cavalcade, a giveaway of complimentary Mickey Mouse ear hats (while supplies last), “magical surprises”, photo opportunities, and the one-day return of the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party at California Adventure.

Each day of the event will feature a “marquee presentation” at the Honda Center. Announced so far are the Disney Entertainment Showcase on Friday, the Disney Experiences Showcase on Saturday, and the Disney Legends Award Ceremony on Sunday, which will be hosted by Emmy Winner Ryan Seacrest.

Meanwhile, the “most innovative show floor ever” at the convention center will offer a slew of new and returning experiences for guests to enjoy, including:

  • Mundo Pixar: The D23 Experience, which will provide fans with a special D23 preview of the “immersive walk-through experience touring worldwide, featuring life-size sets of some favorite Pixar films.”
  • An ESPN Road to the Super Bowl, highlighting the intersection of sports and entertainment in preparation for next year’s Los Angeles-hosted and ESPN/ABC-broadcast big game.
  • Activations inspired by Bluey, Camp Rock 3, and The Simpsons.
  • Both a Mickey F1 and a Formula 1 car will be on display.
  • A Disney Lorcana Challenge Championship Qualifier, where the winner earns a guaranteed seat at the 2027 Disney Lorcana North American Championship.
  • A brand new Walt Disney Archives: Uncrated exhibit, which will feature themed displays featuring “iconic props, costumes, and puppets from some beloved films, television series, and theme parks, which span generations of history at The Walt Disney Company.”

Outside of Disneyland and the two main venues, there are several other events in Anaheim, including:

  • Events begin on August 8th, with the debut of the Walt Disney Archives’ newest exhibition at the Muzeo Museum and Cultural Center, Capturing Life, Creating Character: The Art of Live‑Action, featuring rare photography, costume pieces, artwork, and interactive elements exploring the connection between live-action performance and animation. Tickets for the exhibition go on sale Friday, March 27
  • D23 Night at the Anaheim Packing District on August 11th will feature “music, trivia, fan activities, and the sixth annual World Taste of the Packing District.”
  • August 12th will see D23 Night at Angel Stadium, which will feature the first 23,000 attendees entering the stadium for the team’s game against the Texas Rangers receiving a themed D23 Mickey Mouse Bobblehead, with 2,300 of these being an exclusive gold variant.
