Christmas decorations have already begun appearing in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Magic Kingdom! That means it is officially the start of the holiday season in Disney World.
We spotted construction already beginning on the Grand Floridian Gingerbread House, and now we got details about EIGHT gingerbread displays coming to Disney World and Disneyland and over 30 treats!
Disney just announced where you will be able to find gingerbread displays this year, as well as some of the treats you will be able to purchase! Let’s take a look at where we can see the displays and what treats we can pick up!
EPCOT Gingerbread Spaceship Earth (Starting November 29th)
EPCOT will be debuting its very own gingerbread creation starting on November 29th. We will be able to see a Gingerbread Spaceship Earth in CommuniCore Hall. The Spaceship Earth display will be 8 feet tall and will take over 160 hours to complete. It will even light up and dance to music throughout the day!
Life-Size Baby Gingerbread Giraffe and Baby Zebra at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Starting November 24th)
This display is returning for its fourth year and will feature the Life-Size Baby Gingerbread Giraffe and Baby Zebra starting November 24th. These displays stand almost 7 feet tall and are made from a combination of gingerbread, sugar dough, and modeling chocolate. New this year, there will be a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament inspired by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge available for purchase.

- For some tasty bites to enjoy on this holiday safari, the team has also whipped up some tasty items, including the Gingeraffe Cookie and specialty cocktails.
Gingerbread House at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (Starting November 6th)
The gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian is celebrating 25 years! Beginning on November 6th, guests will be able to enjoy this iconic gingerbread house and pick up some sweet treats.
The display features white chocolate candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and an 88-pound white chocolate Santa. To make the house, Cast Members use 800 pounds of flour, 600 pounds of confectioners’ sugar, and they spend more than 500 hours baking and 480 hours bringing it to life.
To celebrate 25 years of this house, there will also be 25 hidden Mickeys scattered around the house! There will also be a limited-edition collection of 25th anniversary merchandise including a pin, ornament, cookie jar, magnet, tumbler, t-shirt, and more.

Holiday Carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort
The holiday carousel at Disney’s Beach Club Resort is celebrating 24 years. This display spins and the horses are decoarted with a different theme each year. This year the characters from “Mickey’s Christmas Carol” will be brought to life in the Holiday Carousel.
The carousel will feature 24 hidden gold Mickeys to celebrate the 24 years of the display. To take a piece of the memories home with you, there’s also a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament available, too.

At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, you can see a miniature gingerbread version of some iconic and fan-favorite spots from the BoardWalk. This year, there’s also a limited-edition pin, cookie jar, and holiday ornament available for purchase to bring the gingerbread magic home with you!

Castle Display at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (Starting November 8th)
The castle display is returning for it’s 13th year and you can find it on the fourth floor of the resort. Walt Disney Imagineers have designed this new overlay inspired by the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights. There will be 13 hidden Mickeys and the one and only, 5-legged goat. You can also purchase limited-edition pins, cookie jar, and holiday ornament here.

Over on the West Coast, you can find a gingerbread display at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The display this year will feature a gingerbread replica of Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Additionally, you will be able to spot Chip ‘n’ Dale in their pajama attire seen at Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party Breakfast and Brunch at Storytellers Cafe. There will also be 25 hidden Mickeys!

Disneyland Park Haunted Mansion Gingerbread Display
You can also spot a gingerbread display in the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction which is inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. Halloween Town’s resident mad scientist, Dr. Finkelstein, has been hard at work with his trusted assistant Igor to bring his Gigantic Gingerbread Zombie, Lil’ Franky, to life. There are 2 hidden Mickeys in this display!
