FIRST LOOK at Holiday Decorations in Magic Kingdom

We hope everyone had a spooky Halloween last night, but according to Disney World, it is now Christmastime! Time to deck the halls!

Christmas Decor has arrived in Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom transformed overnight from not-so-scary Halloween decorations to festive Christmas decor.

We always love seeing the magical overnight transformation in Magic Kingdom, so you know we headed to the park first thing this morning. Cast members worked hard overnight to remove Fall decor and begin putting up Christmas decorations.

Christmastime has arrived!

While not all of the Christmas decorations were put up overnight, it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas on Main Street, U.S.A. The entrance to Magic Kingdom now features holiday garland and Mickey and Minnie wearing Santa hats.

Walking into the park, festive garland has also been put up with lots of red bows and colorful ornaments.

All the garland!

The Main Street trolley car is also getting into the holiday spirit! The Main Street Transportation vehicle is also adorned with garland to celebrate the season.

There is more garland on various buildings too. From the Emporium to City Hall, it is really feeling like Christmas in Magic Kingdom (except for the fact that it is almost 80 degrees….)

The Mickey wreaths have also returned to Main Street, U.S.A. in all of their festive glory.

Wreaths are here!

The wreaths are also back up in front of Cinderella Castle and we can’t get enough of them!

Disney World fully embraces the Christmas season starting in November and there are so many things happening! Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts on November 8th and Disney Jollywood Nights starts on November 9th. The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays starts on November 29th.

We spotted decorations in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom earlier this week and now Magic Kingdom is starting to be decorated too. Decorations will continue to appear all around the Disney World resort including at hotels. And don’t forget about the iconic Grand Floridian Gingerbread House which is already being worked on!
