The first three times I tried to ride Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT, it broke down. So on that fourth try, I was ecstatic to ride, and it quickly became my favorite in the park (and honestly, it’s probably my top pick in all of Disney World at this point).
I know I’m not alone in this because it constantly posts the highest wait times, sometimes flip-flopping with other fan-favorites like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Frozen Ever After. That’s why I was surprised to see a different ride take the top spot for highest wait time in EPCOT!
Although it has gone through three personalities now, Test Track actually had the highest wait time in all of EPCOT on Wednesday, November 19th! At 10 AM, the thrill ride posted a 75-minute queue. Luckily, this went down throughout the day, but as you can tell, it’s quite popular in the morning.
If it wasn’t Cosmic Rewind, I fully expected it to be Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, especially with the huge change Disney just made to the attraction. What used to be a 3D adventure is now 2D, and you know what that means — no more annoying glasses!
Both rides were close, but didn’t touch or exceed the 75-minute mark. If it were me, though, I would have booked Test Track and Remy’s with Lightning Lane Multi Pass and purchased a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Cosmic Rewind. One thing to know about Disney experts — we don’t like waiting in line!
The latest version of Test Track opened on July 22nd, and features new show scenes and ride technology updates. Although the original still has a place in our hearts, we’re fans of the new version!
